About
Obstetric anaesthesia, pain and research — in the service of the patient
Anaesthesiologist and intensivist with over ten years of clinical experience, currently a Consultant at the Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Perioperative and Pain Medicine Unit of Isola Tiberina – Gemelli Isola Hospital in Rome. My main field is obstetric anaesthesia and analgesia, with particular attention to the management of neuraxial complications and accidental dural puncture headache.
Alongside clinical work, I pursue research documented by publications in high-impact international journals, and ongoing teaching for residents and specialists. I am Head of the Pain Area, an editorial board member, faculty and speaker at national and international congresses, and Regional Representative for Lazio of the ESRA Italian Chapter. Part of my training was completed at University College London Hospital.
